I spent 5 years eating "healthy" — and it almost broke me.
I went vegan at 14 because I thought it was the healthiest thing I could do. For almost five years I did everything "right" — smoothie bowls, quinoa, supplements, the whole thing.
But my body was falling apart. I was bloated after every meal. I lost my period. My hair was thinning. I was anemic, constantly cold, covered in brain fog, and gaining weight no matter what I tried. I developed severe nutritional deficiencies. Doctors told me I was "fine."
I wasn't fine. I was starving — just with a full plate in front of me.
When I finally switched to an animal-based diet, everything changed. My energy came back. My cycle returned. My skin cleared up. I went on to become a German and European K-1 kickboxing champion — something that would have been impossible on the diet that was supposed to make me "healthy."
Now, as a med student, I combine clinical knowledge with real-world experience to help others stop guessing and start healing.
